    i... i.... wtf? ummmm... well, this is kinda a last ditch effort kinda idea, but you could back up all ur files and reinstall windows.... it will fix your problem, but you will lose all your files and infomation and all that unless u back it up... o wait.... before you do that, install avg antivirus just to check if there is a virus on ur comp... if not... then do what i said earlier....

    This happened when I hit some stupid keyboard shortcut that I don't remember, which makes for one hell of a shortcut! Can somebody tell me what part of the Windows XP Professional it is that I need to deal with to set this right? Thanks!

    I'm asking bc someone might actually know. And for the record, yea, I feel pretty dumb! The windows/browsers for both IE and Mozilla have some how become messed up! Most of the icons on the tool bars, in both IE and Mozilla, have disappeared & I don't know how to get them back. Also, the taskbar has become trapped underneath those windows/browsers whenever I have them open, even tho I have "Keep taskbar on top of other windows" checked off in the taskbar properties.
