OMG! You're right--is IS from the Mule Variations CD. I just grabbed it from the shelf and verified it. I thought this song was from a much earlier album: I guess it has that vintage sound to it. I would've guessed either "SwordfishTrombones," or maybe "Frank's Wild Years." Hey--has anyone ever heard Bob Seger's cover of "Sixteen Shells from a Thirty-ought-Six?"
