I can't feel that; a preference for rural drugs reflected in their garments.
This tune is from urban areas in USA during the early eighties, so crack would be more fitting. I'm just guessing: could the use of/ or preference for prairie-clothes come from black peolpe from the Caribbean who were well acquainted with carnaval. Or could it refer to historic links between black people and native Americans?
