I know his history with the church.
But the optimist in me feels that he has nothing in common with Wright anymore. The only reason I think that Obama stayed cool with him that long is because of loyalty. That goes a long way.
He could easily ignore Wright's racist comments, and only listen to the meaningful parts of Wright's sermons.

In the mean time there running around stealing or prostituting to get drug money. Drug use can be traced as the root for a large portion of criminal activity. It's not the government's role to jail people for drugs. I guess theft is a nonviolent crime that there should be a light punishment for, but overall I'm not in favor of putting people in prison for silly things. It's a waste of money, and not helping anything.
