So it eliminates the b pillar ala rx8 but wouldnt that create a chasis safety problem in the event of a crash or roll? The Rx8 has reinforced doors latches and the artificial b pillar but these doors look are far too maliable to provide any such support.

This is nothing new in NYC. Doors and many other parts can disappears from cars. Why heck the whole car can do that too.

WTF are you on about, it will preform the same as the original. if it is raining when you have a normal door it will preform the same.
