    I like how he took out the word "shit" of the song. I thought it sounded better without profanity disrupting it. Though, I prefer Trent's version for the way he sings it and the visual effects he uses in his concert. Honestly, I thought the song was about a man going to war and after his friends getting killed, he regrets his decision.

    Well, Rick ruben who produced Johnny Cash's last album including this song is good friends with former interscoper label member Trent Reznor, Trent stated he could use this song as a cover. Thats how Johnny Cash found out about this song...Rick Rubin the producer who revives music career's, ask metallica who is going to produce their next album...and its not Bob Rock

    Beautiful song, Amazing lyrics in fact. We played this at my friends funeral - He was only 23. I miss him and this song makes me cry every time i hear it, Yet i for some reason still manage to find it comforting? I think its because it reminds me of my friend, He loved this track.
