    that is precisely what im talking abt, God is omniscient. but this guy claimed him and only him prayed on that boat and that it was his prayers that were answered and people up to now is glorifying that idiocracy. Tell me how many people wrote a song abt the incident, none but him. Nobody knows what God did exactly that day, but judging from history God saved the slaves from the pharaoh, unless people will now claim John Newton is a prophet which i doubt.

    haha. i got what you were saying. it's just pretty silly to say that the omniscient Lord of the universe is so small that He can't answer multiple people's prayers at once. like, if hundreds of people are praying for a cancer patient to be healed, then i find out about that patient and pray for him, then God heals him, God still answered my prayers. He answered all of our prayers. also, what specific "prayers" of john newton are you referring to?

    what john newton did was claim that it was HIS prayers that was answered, he immediately thought God answered HIS prayers and wrote a song abt it. when there were hundreds aboard with him.
