References to no fewer than 12 Hitch movies, some subtle, others obvious, all class. Nicely done Marty.

OMG that was great fun!!!

He really does have a Woody Allen thing going, but a classic Woody Allen character, not the man himself, strange.

How many of Hitch's films did people spot?
I saw Rear Window, Psycho and The Birds in there.
Any others?

MAN! Scorsese doing Hitchcock. That's incredible!
August 7th, 2008 | 07:51:28
Mr. Scorsese is right! A Hitchcock poster is a work of art.
Thanks:)!

Um. hello? This IS a commercial. It won a Clio award for advertising.
It IS supposed to have comedic moments; it IS tongue-in-cheek.
August 7th, 2008 | 08:37:26
ahahaha

I love that moment where Scorsese panics at the interviewer wanting to touch the sacred Hitchcock pages. Felt like a bit from a Woody Allen movie.

Take 80% of the filmmakers in the world now and ask him "Who do you think is the most influential filmmaker of all time?" - the answer is 'Alfred Hitchcock'. Thousands of people can make the 'alfred hitchcock style part' but what makes the film most interesting is that it was made by Scorsese and how he made a fool out of himself. As one of the greatest filmmakers ever, he is always there to entertain and surprise...:D
August 7th, 2008 | 09:46:23
No. I think he is merely one of the biggest if not the biggest fan of Hitchcock. And to show his love to Hitchcocks talent in moviemaking, Scorsese made The Key To Reserva as he thinks he would have done it.
August 7th, 2008 | 10:09:22
Looks like Martin Scorsese wants convey that he has the same caliber as Hitchcock.
August 7th, 2008 | 10:32:21
this was a wonderful hybrid of entertainment and advertising. kudos to all involved.
August 7th, 2008 | 10:55:20
This is retarded. Mr.Scorsese must be going senile. To take Hitchcock technique choices and to try to reproduce them in a random and pastiche like manner just shows a profound lack knowledge about what made him great in the first place. If its suppose to be a joke I recommend you watch Mel Brooks' High Anxiety. It is done with a lot more class and intelligence. Boo for Mr.S.
August 7th, 2008 | 11:18:19
I guess they didn´t :)
August 7th, 2008 | 11:41:18
Hitchcock would be proud
August 7th, 2008 | 12:04:17
I'm so gonna see it
August 7th, 2008 | 12:27:16
The drink was the "Fountain of Youth."
August 7th, 2008 | 12:50:15
The pacing was way off. Felt like a commercial. The acting was unintentionally comedic. Also, Hitchcock never payed THAT much homage to himself, so Scorese was clearly NOT making the film that Hitch would have made. I did like the birds at the end, though.

What a facile travesty! What an upsetting trick. Can't believe Scorcese sold out. Beyond depressing, and I've lost respect for him and that brand. Pure waste of time, or how you say, crap.
