keep the hand crank charger in your glove compartment at all times it can come in handy if your cell phone dies and you need emergency power.

The you put it yeah it sounds messed up. But what your phone is about to die and the power is out? This is a good way to charge it.

There was once when I cranked up my emergency flashlight for like 45 minutes while watching TV. It was good exercise. :)

They actually sell these things at the shops, which can charge your phone as well as use as a torch.
