i do, it gives you that early 90's boom-bap sound. sounds a lot like the swing from the MPC2000.

Charlynn:
Yeah, I think in this demo video Hi-Fly does well to use a sample that has drums that complement the ones he adds later on. But I still think sometimes, depending on the sample, some of those background sounds do get in the way. If only there was a way to not just chop parts of a track, but additionally also strip these down to their individual components.

Aden:
i got the same problem cuz i tryed to use sum songs but the drums in the song kill it and idk wu to do
July 5th, 2008 | 14:52:21
ANDOR:
Cool, thanks for the reply. So, I'm guessing your own kick and snares later 'drowns out' the original drums.
July 5th, 2008 | 15:15:20
BETTINA:
No need to remove the original drums. You see what I'm doing in the video. The sample is straight from a song.

Farran:
Hey, I have a question. Did you need to separate the sample into its individual components, or was that not necessary? I was of the impression that you only use the vocals and possiby the melody, but over your own drums. In that case, how can the existing drums be removed from the sample?

Aeldra:
Still, I love the beat. Well done!

Btw, just realised, this is even labelled a Kanye West track. I swear, I didn't even read that small print!
July 5th, 2008 | 16:47:16
Lonell:
Although the beat sounded great all along, I love the way your final version in particular hs this very professional sound to it!

Bryce:
Kanye West, anyone??? Very good beat!

Emunah:
IS there a way in Acid to seperate the Vocals of a song from the FX or synth, beat?
July 5th, 2008 | 17:56:13
Malita:
hey nice beat, really nice beat just wonderin the name of the song you sampled this one?
July 5th, 2008 | 18:19:12
Dekle:
the sample is in a lower tempo than the beat. that's why it's pitched up. you can download the higher resolution version (link in the info box) and just pause the video when you need to.

Gerlach:

July 5th, 2008 | 19:05:10

July 5th, 2008 | 19:28:09
MUT:
How do you get both samples on the same BPM? One is always five times faster than the other one is at default. I just dont know how to make them sound in sync. thanks.
